Good for Boston

Well, Boston did not get the go-ahead for the 2024 Summer Olympics, while an all-too-likely snowless Beijing got the thumbs-up to host the 2022 Winter Olympics. I say good for Beijing, and good for Boston!

Remembering Frank Gifford

I was watching television that night when the banner ran across the bottom of the screen with the news that Frank Gifford, the Hall of Fame flanker back for the New York Giants in the 1950s-60s, had just passed away.

What a Day!

Technical difficulties with my laptop prevented the posting of my weekly blog last week. But this is a new week, and a new blog, and I'm back at it. Here we go.
